Description

Trib Total Media delivers news, information, and advertising in Western Pennsylvania.

We produce the Tribune-Review daily newspaper, many weekly newspapers and The Customer Service Representative is a key position in the Audience Engagement Department.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Answer in-bound customer calls and handle customer requests and complaints, including, but not limited to, delivery issues, billing questions, content issues and concerns
Participate in subscriber retention programs involving outgoing calls to existing customers to improve service, secure payments
Make outbound calls to solicit potential new customers
Process transactions and paperwork associated with customer accounts
Handle a high volume of inbound calls with accuracy and speed, and disperse clear and complete follow up information
Keep effective lines of communication with co-workers and customers, and communicate ideas, suggestions, and concerns to management

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills, problem solving, professionalism, reliability and punctuality
Ability to empathize with and solve customer concerns while being patient
Administrative, computer and data entry skills
Team oriented
Demonstrate the ability to perform a wide range of diverse work, and handle duties in their appropriate priority with accuracy and speed
