    THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN PHILADELPHIA

    Abundant Life Family Services (ALFS) is an organization that provides physical, cognitive, communication, social-emotional, and adaptive developmental skills to children and their families in home, clinic, child care centers and community settings. Providing families with access to care, while reviving hope, ALFS seeks to transform families one child at a time.

    ALFS's mission is to provide high-quality healthcare services to children with developmental delays and autism. We focus on families as a whole to ensure best clinical outcomes for both the child and their family.     Our clinical team works collaboratively with parents, schools, and child care centers to deliver intensive services for children, which include but are not limited to behavioral therapeutic intervention and related educational supports.

    Abundant Life Family Services is actively seeking Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) candidates to develop, evaluate and implement treatment plans as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team serving children and their families.     Professional Skills & Qualifications:

    • Organizational Awareness, Data Entry, Leadership, Problem Solving, Teamwork, Initiative, Integrity, Interpersonal Skills, Communication Skills, Commitment to Diversity/Inclusion.
    • Must have a Bachelor's Degree
    • 40 hour RBT Training and Certificate from the Board after you have passed test

    Job description:

    • As a professional Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you would be providing one-on-one behavioral intervention services to reduce maladaptive behaviors in the home and/or community setting.
    • Implement clinical service delivery goals consistent with overall agency goals and policy/procedures.
    • Complete all required trainings while maintaining certification and clearances.
    • Follow the treatment plan goals and interventions.
    • Work with clinical team to develop internal systems to improve or ensure quality services.
    • Maintain quality documentation of clinical service delivery.
    • Establish and maintain professional relationships with consumers, their families, community support service representatives, co-workers and other agencies as needed.
    • Be able to implement behavioral interventions such as pairing self as a positive reinforcer, teaching coping skills/grounding skills, staying focused and oriented in a crisis, know how to safely handle intense behaviors, teaching replacement behaviors, using praise often for positive behaviors, and be trauma-informed.
    • Implement interventions effectively based upon the treatment plan and behavior management plan as developed by the Licensed Behavior Consultant and/or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
