- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning.
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for appropriate interventions and accommodations.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide direct counseling services to students as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop intervention strategies.
- Stay current on best practices in school psychology and special education law and regulations.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid Georgia certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred.
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills, including experience with a variety of testing software (e.g., Pearson, Q Interactive, PAR, Q Global).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to promoting the academic and social-emotional success of all students.
