    Job Description: Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Cedartown, Georgia area. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping individuals of all ages improve their communication skills and enhance their quality of life.     • Middle school - Highschool Caseload

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments to identify communication disorders and develop personalized treatment plans.
    • Provide individualized therapy sessions to clients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
    • Collaborate with caregivers, educators, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal client outcomes.
    • Document client progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.

    Qualifications for SLP CCC:

    • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • Valid Georgia state license or eligibility for licensure.
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
    • Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    Qualifications forSLP CFY:

    • Completion of a masters degree program in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
    • Enrollment in or completion of a clinical fellowship program approved by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
    • Eligibility for ASHA certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). While not always mandatory during the CFY, it's often a requirement for employment after completion of the fellowship year.
    • Eligibility for state licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology. Requirements vary by state, so ensure compliance with the regulations of the state where you plan to practice.
    • Completion of supervised clinical practicum hours as part of the masters program. The exact number of required hours may vary depending on the program and accreditation standards.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders across various populations and settings.
