- School Based
- Middle school - Highschool Caseload
- Conduct assessments to identify munication disorders and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individualized therapy sessions to clients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with caregivers, educators, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal client outes.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Georgia state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- pletion of a masters degree program in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Enrollment in or pletion of a clinical fellowship program approved by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Eligibility for ASHA certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). While not always mandatory during the CFY, it's often a requirement for employment after pletion of the fellowship year.
- Eligibility for state licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology. Requirements vary by state, so ensure pliance with the regulations of the state where you plan to practice.
- pletion of supervised clinical practicum hours as part of the masters program. The exact number of required hours may vary depending on the program and accreditation standards.
