- Prepare detailed cost analyses of building construction projects and acquired properties to classify assets for proper tax depreciation treatment (cost segregation studies)
- Review capital maintenance, repair and improvement expenditures for proper tax accounting treatment
- Create and maintain fixed asset tax depreciation systems using a variety of software platforms
- Participate in and implement multiple projects simultaneously, which include technical discussions with clients, research, data gathering, computations, analysis, and preparing client reports
- Travel out of town (occasionally) to meet with clients and tour their facilities
- Generate and sustain client relationships and professional networks
- Develop an understanding of clients' businesses and become a "functional expert" in the area
- Contribute as an industry expert by keeping abreast of changes in industry regulation, maintaining competency through continuing education and obtaining additional professional certifications
- Minimum B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university focused in Accounting, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
- Travel to assigned client locations is required. Must have access to and ability to arrange for use of reliable modes of transportation to those locations
- Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
- Working toward the successful completion of the CPA exam
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work effectively on a team
- Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Range: $63,360 - $75,600
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
