- Prepare quarterly estimated tax allocations for all levels of the BEN organizations
- Prepare and review federal, state, local, and international tax returns prepared by the compliance team
- Validate that the book numbers tie to the financial statements and taxable income is correct
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of capital walks for tax, 704, and GAAP for all entities
- Prepare Income Tax Provision work papers as needed
- Assist in tax planning, research, and tax return audits
- Some experience preferred with Partnerships, S-Corp, and Special/Complex Partnership Allocations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills to effectively interact with team members and external investors
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of tax preparation software (preferably CCH ProSystem or Axcess)
- Highly organized
- Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Work within tight deadlines and take responsibility for getting the job done in a timely manner
- Self-starter
- Attain a thorough technical competency and industry specific expertise through CPE, firm/industry group events, webinars, etc.
- 1+ years of public accounting or equivalent industry experience in private equity
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation
- CPA eligible, active CPA license preferred, or equivalent licensing (CFA, Bar License, etc.)
- Ability to easily explain complex tax issues in a concise and understandable fashion
