- Prepare complex state and local income tax returns;
- Engage in the tax planning, consulting and controversy process for multiple clients;
- Conduct research to remain current with legislative changes;
- Draft memoranda and additional client deliverables; and
- Assist with the preparation of Nexus Studies.
- Receive formal State & Local tax training, on the job training, direct feedback from top tax leaders, and the opportunity to pursue additional training through internal and external resources.
- 1+ year of relevant experience
- Bachelors and/or relevant advanced degree;
- Accounting, Finance, Economics or related (Preferred)
- Minimum GPA: 3.0.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities;
- Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment;
- Ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management through both written and verbal communication; and
- Proficient use of technology.

The Role:Experienced Associates with our State & Local Tax (SALT) practice serve on various engagement teams that support a wide range of clients, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to venture-backed startups.
