    Job Description


    NETZSCH Pumps USA is looking for a seasoned manager with leadership skills and P&L responsibility to assume the role of Sales Director for the Environmental Business Field (BF) This position will DRIVE THE BUSINESS of the Environmental Business Field.

    They develop, implement and execute strategies and associated road-maps to drive the sales within the assigned Business Field throughout the U.S.

    In order to do so the Business Field (BF) Director with have a team of Inside and Outside team members.

    The BF team will be independent and self-sufficient within the organization.


    The Business Field Director is already an expert in their assigned Business Field, speaks the language of the market and possesses expert competence in product, applications and trends.

    He/she is responsible to identify, target, and establish networks (customers, partners, associations, suppliers, etc.) to build and manage successful relationships within the assigned Business Field.

    This person knows the market and is capable of managing and leading a team of RSMs, Inside Application Engineers and Market managers to the agreed strategic, revenue and profitability goals.

    Qualifications

    Successful candidates will have solid managerial and leadership skills which includes the ability to communicate, persuade, strategize and cooperate. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance by the VP of Sales or President.


    In additional candidates will have:


    Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field and (business or technical background is highly preferred); or 6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Existing Market, Product and/or Application knowledge is required.
    Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills are a must.
    Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects and action plans on time. Must be driven to achieve results.

    Must be able to independently develop C-Level Market Strategies including specific action plans to reach the established sales and profitability goals in the assigned market.

    Must have the ability to read, write and comprehend market and industry reports and technical studies. Must have the ability to explain complex concepts and processes in simple and clear language.
    Must have and maintain a valid passport and driver's license. Job requires domestic travel of up to 50% with occasional international travel. Preferred location is Exton, PA or Houston, TX to work from NETZSCH offices.
