    Pls note and share with your candidate bf submitting In addition to the compliance items required in Vector, client runs a separate criminal background check that searches from Age 18 forward.

    This is initiated once offer is accepted.


    The offer is contingent on them passing the client check as well as the criminal check the vendor runs/provides in Vector.


    About the role:
    Deploy functional wired/wireless campus networks (LAN,WLAN,WAN).

    Monitor network performance and integrity to determine if improvements need to be made. Resolve issues escalated from helpdesk by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure.

    Work with third party vendors to keep the network running efficiently. Communicate with network users to resolve network issues.

    Maintain complete technical documentation.

    Perform analysis and collect data to establish the potential for improvements within the client network.


    Skills:
    Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.

    Considerable experience in customer support, including problem definition and resolution for both network hardware and software

    Considerable experience with Cisco router and switches and Aruba wireless technologies.

    Considerable experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools.


    Considerable knowledge and experience configuring DNS and DHCP Demonstrated In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g.

    BGP, OSPF).

    Considerable experience administering campus/organization LAN/WAN environment, including wireless access points

    Demonstrated hands-on network troubleshooting experience

    A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.

    Demonstrated ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.

    2-5 years experience administering Cisco and Aruba campus/organization LAN/WAN environment.

    Technical knowledge of current network technologies, protocols, and industry best practices.

    Demonstrated ability to conduct research related to networking issues and products as required.

    Proven analytical and problemsolving skills.

    Strong written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to present technical information in a userfriendly manner

    Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS) - Mist is a plus

    Solid background in network administration and architecture

    Experience with access control models and network security.

    VoIP, Mitel and experience building call patterns preferred.

    Industry certifications such as CCNP preferred
