    About This Role: Software Engineer in Test

    Location: Remote, San Francisco

    Responsibilities:

    As a Software Engineer in Test at Hazel Health, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality of our digital health platform. You'll collaborate with different teams to implement automated testing, ensuring efficient software delivery. Your focus will be on designing, implementing, and overseeing the quality assurance program to guarantee top-notch software. The ideal candidate thrives on solving complex technical challenges, continuously seeking ways to improve our platform's quality.

    Key Tasks:

    • Lead the design and implementation of testing strategies.
    • Drive the adoption of testing frameworks and tools.
    • Collaborate with various teams to ensure safe code changes.
    • Develop comprehensive test plans for high-quality software.
    • Utilize metrics to enhance testing practices.
    • Advocate for product quality and security.

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of software engineering with expertise in quality engineering.
    • Deep understanding of QA methodologies and test plan development.
    • Experience with automated testing tools and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
    • Strong communication skills and a focus on structured testing.
    • Track record in shipping complex software.
    • Passion for creating software that enhances lives.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Leadership experience in QA.
    • Testing expertise in Java, React, and React Native.
    • Familiarity with HIPAA/HITECH-compliant infrastructure.
    • Knowledge of security practices on client and server sides.
    • Experience with SQL and database testing.
