    Summary of Job A Behavior Intervention Implementation specialist works closely with students displaying behavioral challenges, applying strategies to promote positive behavior, ensure a safe learning environment, and support students' social-emotional development.

    Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or related field. - Certification or training in behavioral intervention strategies, such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). - Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or behavioral challenges.

    Requirements -The equivalent of graduation from high school* and one of the following: Completion of at least two years of study* (48 semester units or 60 quarter units) at an institution of higher education; OR Attainment of an Associate of Arts degree or higher* -MInimum year of experience working with school-age children -Pass a Department of Justice background check (Livescan) - Ability to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.

    - Strong understanding of child development and behavior management techniques. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders. - Patience and resilience, with a passion for helping children succeed. Responsibilities Assists students in prescribed learning activities. - Implement behavior intervention strategies in classroom or individual settings. - Monitor and report on students' progress towards behavior goals. - Support teachers and staff in understanding and applying behavior management techniques.

    - Assist with instructional and related activities of a Special Education learning environment, as directed by a supervisor - Supports instruction to individuals or small groups of students with special needs as assigned.
