    Job Description

    The Onboarding Specialist will provide general administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team and will work directly with electronic databases and provide superior customer service to Goodwill employees as needed.

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Lead all onboarding activities for new hires to include, but not limited to, onboarding through ATS, reminder calls, folder creation and I-9 management through E-Verify.
    • Assist with vacancy reports by adding new hires & removing terminations.
    • Assist Talent Acquisition Partner's with obtaining interview dispositions and disposition candidates in ATS.
    • Assist with community outreach and job fairs.
    • Partner with Learning & Development to ensure new hires have the most up to date resources at the time of hire.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Pull necessary reports through ATS to ensure data accuracy related to Talent and assist with reporting on Talent metrics.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED. Undergraduate majors focusing on Human Resources or Business Management preferred.
    • At least 2 years in an administrative role. Talent experience preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication.
    • Superior customer service skills.
    • Creative and flexible problem solving; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Intermediate skill level of Microsoft Office products in a Windows environment.
    • Proficiency in English and basic math skills. Bilingual preferred.
    • The ability to work both independently and as a team.
    • Self-motivated with strong collaboration and critical thinking skills.
    • Reliable transportation with valid driver license and proof of insurance with ability to travel to various work sites.

    Physical Requirements

    • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear.
    • The ability to cope with and tolerate moderate levels of stress is also a necessity. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
