At Wallenpaupack Lake Estates, PA, the Department of Educational and Developmental Psychology at the Lifespan Developmental Neuroscience Chair is seeking a Research Associate/Postdoc (M/F/x) for a project position.

The Lifespan Developmental Neuroscience Chair focuses on studying neurocognitive mechanisms that contribute to the development of perception, cognition, and motivation throughout a person's lifespan.

Our research primarily explores the neurofunctional mechanisms underlying the development of episodic and spatial memory, cognitive control, reward processing, decision making, perception, and action.

We also conduct applied research to investigate the effects of behavioral interventions, non-invasive brain stimulation, and digital technologies on enhancing functional plasticity in individuals of different ages.

We utilize a wide range of neurocognitive methods, including EEG, fNIRs, fMRI, and tDCS, as well as computational techniques.

Our lab is equipped with multiple testing rooms and has access to various tools such as EEG systems (64-channel and 32-channel), fNIRs systems, eye-tracking devices, and virtual reality equipment.

The university's NeuroImaging Center also provides access to an MRI scanner (3T) and TMS-device. TU Dresden is a prestigious university supported by the DFG, offering exceptional research opportunities. Researchers in this chair are involved in large research consortia and clusters, such as the DFG SFB 940 "Volition and Cognitive Control" and DFG EXC
