- Performing quality control tests on all production samples and verifying that all products and incoming raw materials meet quality specifications.
- Maintaining, filing, and archiving all lab records, including QA lab notebooks, products, sales & raw material specs and COAs, production work orders, batch sheets & retention samples.
- Ensuring the QA laboratory meets ISO 9001 and Kemira quality requirements, including the approval of testing and calibration procedures.
- Calibrating, maintaining, troubleshooting, & writing procedures for instrumentation and product testing.
- Assisting the EHSQ Specialist with procedure development and quality review of new products and raw materials.
- Assisting production with formula corrections for off-spec batches.
- Assisting with special laboratory projects or other projects as required by the Plant Manager.
- Recording QC results in SAP and generating Certificates of Analysis; completing other related transactions.
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping.
- You must be capable of working primarily independently in the lab, but also as an important member of the production team.
- Strong verbal and written communication.

- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.

- Experience with MS office applications including word, excel, power point and outlook.
