    has an exciting opportunity in our Global Grain and Processing group. We are looking for a

    Production Operations, Development Leader

    at our ethanol plant in Annawan, IL. The position is designed to give an understanding of the operations and processes of our ethanol facilities.

    Successful candidates will develop skills and knowledge of our ethanol facilities by rotating through unique, challenging and rewarding experiences at different areas of the plant.

    Upon successful completion, the Production Operations Development Leader will be placed in a full-time position that complements both the needs of the company and the employees strengths.

    Responsibilities

    Contribute fully to the day-to-day physical operation of the
    CHSfacility to understand fundamental operations and processes
    Support the facility in prioritizing and optimizing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    Support and guide plant management with projects, drawing reviews, equipment specifications, operational narrative preparations, and employee training
    Lead continuous improvement efforts
    Review of production data routinely to ensure accuracy and to analyze for continuous improvements throughout the facility
    Champion new ideas to drive organization effectiveness
    Actively engage in and lead the implementation and use of LEAN as a continuous improvement methodology in the plant
    Approach every task with safety as the first work consideration. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Identify and mitigate hazards before starting work tasks. Maintain situational awareness to identify and mitigate potential hazards while performing work tasks
    Minimum Qualifications (required)

    Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Agriculture, Chemical, Mechanical, Bioproducts and Biosystems, etc.)
    2-5 years professional work experience

    Demonstrate and promote safety
    Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
    Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting work priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and change
    Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
    Must be well organized, goal orientated, and self-directed
    Demonstrates mechanical and analytical interest with strong problem-solving skills
    Collaborative team player
