Peraton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join its National Security Space (NSS) Business Unit.The NSS Business Unit is responsible for developing and delivering engineering, software, and infrastructure solutions in support of the nation's critical space-based infrastructure.
This role will support the main effort in providing a collaborative, efficient, and effective approach to asset management of common assets and services.
The purpose of this effort is to organize, modernize, and improve current processes to ensure that assets are available, documented, and updated as necessary to support the Government team and its mission.
As a Senior Systems Engineer you will assist the multi-contractor team supporting multiple Agile scrum teams in planning, design, development, deployment, integration, test, and configuration management of common assets, services, and tools.
As an experienced professional with a full understanding of systems engineering, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways; Assist in developing systems engineering processes for the planning, design, development, deployment, integration and test, configuration management of asset management solutions and systems.
This position requires the candidate possess a minimum of Top-Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI and pass a polygraph within 30 days of employment or at customers request- contract requires TS/SCI with poly.
Experience developing and supporting system engineering processes across the entire system lifecycle to include the analysis, planning, design, development, deployment, integration, test, or configuration of software.
