    Chief Operations Officer (COO) at Pachamama Alliance

    Pachamama Alliance is on the lookout for an experienced and dynamic Chief Operations Officer (COO) to take the lead on operational, strategic, and programmatic endeavors. As a vital member of the executive team, the COO will have a pivotal role in shaping the organization's future, increasing efficiency, and maximizing impact.

    Responsibilities of the COO include overseeing human resources, financial, and legal functions, managing technology and infrastructure, leading marketing and fundraising efforts, and spearheading strategic initiatives and programs.

    Pachamama Alliance, a well-established non-profit based in San Francisco, is dedicated to empowering Indigenous communities in the Amazon rainforest, advocating for environmental sustainability, social justice, and spiritual fulfillment worldwide.

    The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience in non-profit leadership, adept at managing multiple teams, possessing project management expertise, and skills in marketing, fundraising, and program development. Moreover, familiarity with the latest technology and tools is crucial to support the organization's operations effectively.

    In addition to strong strategic thinking abilities and a knack for execution, the COO must excel in organizational development, navigating change management, and fostering a culture aligned with the organization's values and mission.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute operational plans in collaboration with the Executive Committee
    • Manage human resources, technology, finance, legal compliance, and marketing efforts
    • Coordinate key program development, fundraising, and strategy planning
    • Ensure organizational compliance, staff well-being, and resolution of work-related issues
    • Manage relationships with key stakeholders and the Board of Directors

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $115,000 - $125,000 per year
