- Comfortability working in a high volume activity/sales environment and being on monthly quotas
- Identifying and developing potential new clients through prospecting and cold outreach
- Providing detailed information to prospective customers and educating them on the features and benefits of SmartAsset's platform
- Having a consultative approach with clients by understanding their business needs, explaining ROI and having a strong closing approach.
- Owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing
- Becoming an expert in the financial advisor industry to better help identify strong advisor prospects who will be a good fit for the Smart Advisor platform
- Collaborating with company leadership to vet and research different strategies for generating more revenue. Operating with a high level of integrity and able work within organizational Rules of Engagement
- Staying organized, maintaining contacts and outreach in Salesforce
- 3-5 years of full sales cycle experience and/or in a Sales Development role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
- Experience in an inside sales, cold calling, transactional sales role
- Ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Comfortable speaking to and persuading prospective clients on the phone and making 80+ calls per day
- Attention to detail; excellent organization and time-management skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
- Salesforce experience preferred but not required
- Team player who possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
- All roles at SmartAsset are currently and will remain remote - flexibility to work from anywhere in the Contiguous US.
