    Location: New Jersey - Hybrid or Remote

    Role: Director of Estimating

    Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 per annum

    Sector: Utility-scale Solar

    Our Clients are seeking an experienced individual to take on the role of Director of Estimating. This is a pivotal position responsible for managing bids, estimating, procurement, and supporting various aspects of project development and construction work.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the entire bidding process, including solicitation, estimating, and procurement of long-lead time items.
    • Manage costs effectively, review proposals, scopes, and other relevant documentation.
    • Assist in preparing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Statements of Interest (SOIs).
    • Develop and maintain standard processes for development and construction activities.
    • Provide support during the project sale phase, contributing to negotiations and agreements at the time of Notice to Proceed (NTP).
    • Collaborate with project attorneys and engineers on contractual agreements and development tasks.
    • Provide support to the President, CEO, and Executive Vice President as needed.
    • Interface with the development team and other key stakeholders during project development, tracking new information and handling Requests for Information (RFIs) and Data Rooms.
    • Coordinate with engineers and attorneys on permit acquisition processes.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in estimating and bidding processes within Solar industry
    • Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
    • Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as MS Office and project management tools.
