Description
Summary/Objective
The Program Manager Bank Partnerships will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive implementation programs forward, adhere to deliverable deadlines, and measure and improve performance.
The Program manager will be responsible for planning and designing the program and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action.
Programs will consist of multiple independent and interrelated projects assigned to various project managers.Essential Functions/ Responsibilities
Monitor project management process including reporting, forecasting, measuring kpis, communication, and prioritization.
Serve as point of contact for bank partner implementation programs.
Work directly with key executives at Paymentus as well as with client executives
Work with Managers of groups of PMs and individual PMs
Work cross functionally internally to solve implementation challenges
Maintain ongoing reporting of program/partner/client status and activities
Administer program level tracking systems (Smartsheet, Salesforce) including creation, monitoring and closure of the component projects; Devise and implement improvements for the same
Oversee workflow prioritization processes with stakeholders from development, quality assurance, technical implementations, and implementations teams and leads
Create Partner level reporting to measure performance against plans, defect rates, team utilization, etc.
Support activities to improve departmental process documentation, process improvement, maintenance of knowledge base, etc
Support departmental activities to improve and adhere to high standards for project tracking, forecasting, ticket hygiene, etc.
Ability to proactively troubleshoot and solve problems with limited supervision
Fosters collaboration and positive team environment
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not direct reports.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/project management certifications preferred
Background in delivering projects for external customers
5+ years of experience in managing projects
Strong organizational, communications and people skills required
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Enjoys wearing multiple hats and can be called on to play whatever role is required for the situation
Background in the Payments, Banking, E-Commerce, Finance and/or Utility industries helpful but not required
Experience with Smartsheet, JIRA, and Salesforce highly preferred
Strong experience with Excel and PowerPoint for enterprise reporting is expected
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The employee may be required to life up to 25 lbs.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
10-15% travel to customer sites may be required based upon project needs.
