- Play a crucial role in driving sales growth through engaging potential customers, nurturing leads, converting them into sales opportunities, and closing sales.
- Increase penetration within existing customers by increasing the number of categories sold.
- Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions, record sales activities, and update customer information accurately and frequently.
- Create and manage sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and progression of leads through sales cycle.
- Execute corporate sales initiatives, promotions, and campaigns to drive sales growth (cross-sell)
- Manage a portfolio of assigned customers and partners, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new opportunities.
- Create new opportunities, support existing customers, and provide project consultation and application expertise to assist customers interested in products and services.
- Generates interest and development of large new OEM customers for products and services.
- Plans, schedules, and coordinates new potential customer meetings and new project opportunities.
- Actively participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and workshops to enhance sales skills.
- Continuously improve personal knowledge of products, industry trends, and market conditions to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
- Provide support and guidance to customers regarding product selection, specifications, and applications.
- Identify and target potential customers in all markets.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Meet or exceed sales targets on a regular basis.
- Cross departmental team collaboration
- Accepts special projects or assignments as requested by management.
- Some clerical duties (invoicing, returns, FFL Management).
- High school diploma/GED.
- Proven experience in technical sales, outside sales, or business development
- Ability to work under pressure during tight deadlines.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficiency with computers with Outlook, Excel, SAP.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent phone and customer service skills.
- Satisfactorily complete the 90-day probationary period
