- Welcome guests upon arrival with prompt greetings and assistance.
- Manage incoming phone calls, maintain an accurate reservation count, and manage the reservation system effectively.
- Ensure menus are up-to-date and in good condition, replacing worn-out menus as needed.
- Assist in processing take-out orders and meticulously preparing them for guests, while also ensuring accurate handover.
- Assist with setting tables for incoming guests as needed.
- Relay guest needs and feedback to the kitchen and management for efficient service and quality assurance.
- Regularly check in with waiting guests, reassuring them of their status and preparation of their tables.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in assigned areas, including shutting down the podium and forwarding phones at the end of the shift.
- Communicate with Restaurant Reservations regarding special orders, cake orders, special requests - responsible for conveying all such information to management.
- Maintain knowledge of scheduled daily activities and in‐house groups, daily house count, table/seat/station numbers, proper table set ups, room capacity, hours of operation, price range and dress code of the restaurant.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a fine dining establishment.
- Prior hosting and to go experience in a high-volume environment.
- Prior experience using reservation systems such as SevenRooms or OpenTable.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure.
- Proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin preferred.
- Flexibility to work part time/on call schedule with various hours and shifts as required.
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

- Monday - Thursday, Sunday Open from 11am - 11pm
- Friday - Saturday Open from 11am - 1am

We are looking for a charismatic and motivated individual to join our dynamic team at Noodles as a Host Person With a tantalizing array of authentic Asian noodle dishes curated by Executive Chef Patrick Lee, including Pad Thai, Pho, and Udon, our restaurant promises a delightful fusion of flavors and fun-filled dining experiences.
THE JOB:
It is the primary responsibility of the Host Person to greet guests in a courteous, timely, and professional manner while ensuring his/her outlet is clean, organized, and properly stocked at all times.
As a Host Person, you will collaborate closely with Food Servers, Bus Persons, and Food Service Runners to enhance guest interactions, ensure tables are set for incoming guests and provide accurate table information.
