- Communicate with Restaurant Reservations for special orders and any other special guest needs, promptly conveying all information to management.
- Stay informed about daily activities, in-house groups, table setups, and restaurant details including hours, price range, and dress code, ensuring guests receive accurate information.
- Welcome guests with promptness and warmth upon their arrival at the restaurant.
- Manage incoming calls, maintain an accurate reservation count, and efficiently handle the reservation book.
- Ensure menus are up to date with proper inserts and promptly replace any worn-out menus.
- Relay guest needs to the kitchen and management, provide feedback on guest experiences, and assist management for seamless service and quality.
- Regularly check on waiting guests, reassuring them of their status and informing them of table preparations.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas, including the retail section. Handling tasks such as folding t-shirts and ensuring retail merchandise is presented attractively.
- At the end of the shift, properly shut down the podium and forward phones to the voice-loop system.
- Preform other job-duties as requested.
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
