The city administration of Filderstadt is currently seeking a traffic planner (m/f/d) for the Department of Urban Planning and Development at the earliest possible date.

Your responsibilities include:

Conceptual traffic planning, including local public transport planning (traffic, mobility, bicycle and parking concepts, as well as public transport)
Development of traffic analyses / inventories and identification, visualization and interpretation of deficiencies, as well as proposing solutions for their improvement
Project management for the development of the Mobility Development Plan 2035 in all work steps
Tendering, awarding, management and evaluation of traffic studies, traffic concepts and planning of traffic facilities (phases 13 HOAI), including traffic surveys and surveys on mobility behavior
Preparation of contributions and statements on traffic planning topics, as well as participation in consultations on urban development projects and plans of third parties
Representation and mediation of plans to the public and in political committees, including public relations and participation

Your profile:

Bachelor's, Master's or Diploma degree in traffic planning, civil and traffic engineering, urban and regional planning, geography or a comparable qualification with relevant specialization
Proven practical knowledge in traffic and road planning
Independent and projectresponsible working style
Teamwork, commitment and willingness to work interdisciplinary with departments, authorities and external planning offices
Negotiation skills, good communication skills and good written expression
Good knowledge of CAD planning and relevant programs, as well as experience with geographic information
