Certified Nursing Assistant certifications are not required to be renewed after hire.Previous clerical and customer service experience required. Completion of a health unit coordinator program or other healthcare office experience preferred. Current CPR certification
Possess willingness and initiative to successfully complete educational requirements and develop and learn new skills as required by the unit (i.e., phlebotomy, EKG, etc.).
Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact courteously and tactfully with patients, parents/families and members of the health care team.
Possess rudimentary assessment and analytical skills in order to perform basic patient observations. Previous basic computer and keyboarding experience and skills preferred.Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk when assisting with errands, to carry supplies and move equipment on wheels, and to transport patients in wheelchairs and cribs.
