As the Donor Services Specialist, you will work independently and as part of a team to fulfill responsibilities primarily related to designated and agency funds, as well as assist supporting organizations and high-profile donor advised funds in the Community Foundation's Donor Services & Gift Planning department.
This position is responsible for executing and strengthening the Foundation's strategic goal of growing philanthropy and stewarding new and existing fund advisors.

Our current package includes health and dental insurance, 401(k), paid time off, paid volunteer hours, and professional development. This position is expected to work 40 hours per week. The salary range starts at $28.48 per hour. A start date no later than July 8, 2024 is preferred.POSITION TITLE:

The Director of Donor Services will provide the strategic direction and planning guidance to ensure alignment with the Foundation's strategic development plan.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundamental Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of designated and field of interest funds as assigned with a goal of furthering the donor/fund advisor's intentions and charitable giving.
executing donor/fund advisor's intentions, facilitating fund advisor requests, assisting in forming strategies for the fund(s), and stewarding donor's philanthropic legacies.
- Manage a portfolio of agency funds as assigned with a goal of assisting nonprofits in maximizing the benefits of the fund and educating them about opportunities for fund growth and how the Community Foundation can support their work.
- Prepare all appropriate correspondence and documentation relating to fund advisor intent and goals, including notes, addendums, and updated fund agreements articulating necessary revisions and alignment with donors/fund advisors' intentions.
- Partner with Director of Gift Planning to establish new funds as requested, including meeting with prospects and assisting with fund documentation.
- Identify areas of process improvement opportunities for designated and agency funds, collaborate with key staff, and implement changes and needed efficiencies.
- Assist with board and committee meeting administration for various supporting organizations and donor advised funds. This includes drafting agendas, developing, compiling, and posting materials for board and committee members to access, attending meetings, preparing minutes and reports, and interacting with volunteers.
