The NICU Transport Nurse provides patient care in a mobile environment to high risk patients and their families being transported to/from Children's Hospital of Wisconsin-Fox Valley.

The NICU Transport Nurse acts as a resource hospital wide for patient care standards and pre-code recognition.

As a recognized resource, the job assists in establishing and maintaining a high quality standard of care for the neonatal and pediatric transport population under the age of two months.

Requires a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing.

An Associate or diploma prepared nurse will be considered, with the expectation they will be enrolled in a BSN completion program with the understanding that degree completion would occur within three years.

In addition, have 3 years of current neonatal/pediatric clinical experience and have approval from their immediate supervisor.

Must possess current Wisconsin State License as a Registered Nurse and must pass pre-placement physical exam and meet health requirements for flying.

This will include annual weight, blood pressure, hearing, and vision screening.

Transport team must meet height requirements of not greater than 6ft 2in., not less than 4 ft 10 in and maintain weight less than 215 pounds.
