Job SummaryJabil is a precision machining facility with over 45 years of operating expertise in manufacturing and concept producibility and engineering support.
We specialize in aerospace products, turbine engine components, rapid prototyping, and industrial pumps, but our capabilities are applicable to any industry that requires precision machined parts.
The machinist position will set up and operate various CNC machine tools including multi-axis mills or lathes.We are seeking a 1st shift CNC Operator. First shift hours are Monday through Friday from 7 am - 330 pm.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC mills and lathesUtilize inspection equipment to check accuracy of work, in accordance with blueprint specificationsComplete all job-related paperwork, accurately, per requirementsMaintain equipment and work area on a daily basis in a clean and orderly conditionFollow prescribed work rules and standard safety regulations at all timesDevelop constructive and cooperative working relationships with othersCoordinate with supervisor and other team members to meet production schedule demandsMaintain a clean and safe working environmentPerform other related duties as assignedEducation & Experience RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalentSecondary School, Technical Certificate, or Degree preferredBasic computer and data entry skillsBasic shop math skillsFamiliarity with CNC operationManual machining experience a plusAble to read job instructions and blueprintsStrong attention to detailGood communication skills (verbal and written)Physical Requirements /Work EnvironmentPhysical ability to operate machines.
Must be able to bend, stretch, squat, and climb to access all parts of the machine.Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and stretchingMust be able to lift 35 pounds at a timeMust be able to work in noisy environments (at times)This position requires use of information which is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
To conform to U.S. Government export regulations/ITAR, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.The hourly pay range for this role is $$ $$25.17.
