- Set up, operate, and maintain precision machine tools, including a drill press, manual lathe, manual milling machine, and other equipment to ensure quality & accuracy of finished products.
- Read and interpret moderately complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to manufacture precision metal parts.
- Measure and inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine and tooling malfunctions.
- Understand and comply with company policy safety guidelines, quality systems requirements and housekeeping standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma/GED equivalent.
- At least 1-2 years' machine shop experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Authorized to work in the United States of America.
- Proficient in the English language.
- Previous experience in CNC programming & set-up/associates degree in machine school technologies.
- Performs all level I responsibilities listed above.

- Performs all level I & II responsibilities listed above.
- Train, Mentor, coach, perform overchecks and answer questions for newer employees.
- Set goals for self and others to push towards an environment of doing projects correctly and the most cost effective way possible.
- Meet expected throughput of production goals while maintaining 4 or fewer reject tags per year.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma/GED equivalent.
- At least 3-5 years' experience in CNC programming & set-up/associates degree in machine school technologies.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Authorized to work in the United States of America.

JOB SUMMARY
Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Machinist to produce complex machined parts by setting up & operating manual machines as well as potentially program computer numerical control (CNC) machines; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining equipment. This is a full-time, hourly position currently hiring for night shifts & weekend shifts. See descriptions below for pay structures & responsibilities.
