    Description

    Are you looking for a new opportunity as a Senior Accountant? Look no further LHH/Parker & Lynch is thrilled to collaborate with a leading Distribution company in Fort Worth, TX, to hire a Senior Accountant.

    The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, including expertise in accounts payable, bank and general ledger reconciliations, and exceptional communication skills. Reporting directly to the Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in our finance team with ample opportunities for professional growth.

    Position Details:

    Location: Fort Worth, TX (In-office role with flexible hours and occasional remote work)

    Compensation: $85,000-$95,000 (based on experience) + bonus

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently.
    • Act as the primary liaison for state Sales and Use Tax matters, ensuring compliance.
    • Assist in reconciling General Ledger accounts and maintaining meticulous records.
    • Collaborate closely with the AP Department to ensure accurate vendor payments.
    • Support the preparation of Journal Entries for monthly close procedures.
    • Work closely with the Controller to ensure completeness and accuracy in month-end close processes.
    • Provide assistance during external audits as required.
    • Support the Controller and VP Finance with additional tasks, contributing to team success.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required.
    • CPA or CPA Candidate designation required.
    • Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
    • Strong proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
