Legal Assistant/Paralegal (DIRECT HIRE)

Our client has an immediate need for a Business Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal to work with a law firm located in the city of Irvine. This is a full-time, DIRECT HIRE, position looking to hire as soon as possible.

STARTING PAY: $65,000-$85000.

Established and growing boutique law firm in Irvine seeks full-time, experienced business legal assistant/paralegal to support three litigation attorneys (partner and three associates).

Qualification & Responsibilities:

Filings in State (75%) and Federal Court (25%).
Calendaring - Litigation deadlines, reminders, etc.
Drafting Pleadings and Discovery (i.e. draft shells, proof read, cite check, perfect formatting, etc.).
Proficient in Microsoft Word (especially Tables of Authorities and Tables of Contents for Motions).
Knowledge of law/motion and discovery deadlines pursuant to the CCP and FRCP for Central District CA.
Conducting Intakes with Potential Clients.
Communicating with clients, setting up calls, and meetings.
Light administrative work for partner; and
Familiar with Clio & MyCase is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time.
Pay: $65, $85,000.00 per year.
