TGH is the area's only level I trauma center and one of just two ABA-verified adult & pediatric burn centers in Florida.

The APRN provides nursing and medical services to individuals, families and groups, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention as well as diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases.
Works autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients' health care problems.
Maintains an annual protocol with supervising physician, as required by state professional regulatory agencies.Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values in accordance with Tampa General Hospital .Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage oncology patients with infectious diseases.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.This role will primarily serve the inpatient oncology patient population as well as opportunity for expanding services out to the outpatient population.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the Infectious Disease specialty and oncology patient.Qualifications
Required Skills
PA and/or NP, with Acute Care or Gerontology certification is eligible for this role. Surgery and/or Oncology experience is preferred. Current licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida.
