Job DescriptionSunnnySky is searching for a Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for supervising the maintenance team. Utilizing the maintenance software and scheduling maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of PM's and routine maintenance. This dynamic leader will work closely with other managers to ensure that equipment is operating at peak performance and meeting all safety and food safety requirements. Also responsible for shop organization, parts inventory and department safety trainings. This position will require the manager to be hands-on and will need to possess the skills of a well experienced maintenance technician.

The Maintenance Manager will will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes. The right candidate will be able to work independently on a broad range of equipment and projects, work with operators to keep machines at peak efficiency, and work closely with management to achieve constantly changing goals. The position requires a strong skill set and understanding of electrical components as well as a good knowledge of filling, cappers, labeling, conveyers and packaging equipment. Beverage or food experience is preferred.

As a Maintenance Manager, you will:

Schedule and supervise the maintenance staff to ensure that all tasks are being performed as efficiently as possible.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Manage the maintenance parts inventory closely to ensure that common parts are on hand and readily available.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

To be successful in the role, one must:

Interact with production supervisors and workers to solicit information about problems and performance.
Maintain a clean and well-organized work area that promotes safety and efficiency.
Must have own tools
Must be available to work some extended hours and flexible schedule.
Good verbal and interpersonal skills
Must be able to work independently.
Must be able to complete required documentation.
Basic electrical skills, ability to diagnose problems, change motors, etc.
Experience with Allen Bradley logic a definite plus.
Experience in beverage or food manufacturing with participation in SQF and HACCP also preferred.
Candidate must be organized and able to take ownership of work areas in modern, clean beverage facility.
Must be able to troubleshoot, adjust, teardown and rebuild manufacturing equipment as required.
