    Description

    We are looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Manager with a strong background in the food industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive management experience, deep knowledge of food safety protocols, SQF auditing expertise, and a proven track record of problem-solving in safety and quality.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in industrial Mechanics or a related field from a university or technical school.
    • Electrician Commercial Certificate and Programming Basics Certificate.
    • Internal Mechanical and Electrical skills.
    • Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role in food industry maintenance mechanics.
    • At least 4 years of experience in a manager position leading a department of similar size.
    • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and SQF standards.
    • Proven track record in complex problem-solving related to safety and quality.
    • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
    • Excellent administration and management skills

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Management: Lead and manage the maintenance department, overseeing all aspects of equipment maintenance, repairs, and installations.
    • Food Safety: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards, implementing and maintaining effective protocols to uphold product quality and safety.
    • SQF Auditing: Conduct SQF audits and ensure adherence to SQF requirements throughout the facility.
    • Problem-Solving: Utilize strong problem-solving skills to address complex issues related to safety, quality, and maintenance processes.
    • Process Orientation: Develop and implement efficient maintenance processes and procedures to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
    • Administration and Management: Handle departmental administration, including budgeting, resource allocation, and personnel management.
    • Supervision: Provide leadership and guidance to maintenance teams, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
    • Education and Training: Collaborate with internal teams to provide training on mechanical and electrical skills, programming basics, and other relevant areas.
