    Description

    My client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team working in an AS9100 environment on a daily basis. Reporting into the VP of Engineering, the Manufacturing Engineer will plan and coordinate manufacturing processes.

    Description

    The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the following:

    • Interpret and comprehend engineering drawings and accompanying customer specifications thoroughly.
    • Generate accurate and well-organized Basis of Estimates for management, incorporating supplier quotes and meticulously documenting vendor/supplier costs for parts, raw materials, and tooling. Estimate internal labor, outside processes, and non-recurring effort.
    • Oversee New Product Introduction, encompassing the development and approval of Method of Manufacture, creation of tooling statements of work, and coordination of vendor/supplier management. Maintain program schedule through First Article Inspection (FAI) with ongoing support post-FAI.
    • Enhance or modify product manufacturing methods as needed within the company's EPICOR ERP system.
    • Perform data entry, upkeep, and enhancement of the ERP system.
    • Offer technical support throughout the manufacturing process.

    Profile

    The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have the following background:

    • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
    • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar field
    • Completed training in procedures and work instructions including SOP-003, SOP-004, SOP-009, SOP-012, SOP-013, SOP-015, SOP-017, SOP-020, MEWI-001, MEWI-002, QWI-027, and QWI-047, all accessible in Quality/QMS2020
    • Completed ABC Safety Training and ABC Export Compliance training.
