    Medical Assistant Educator Coordinator

    Description

    Provides staff development, education, and competency development for Medical Assistants. In collaboration with Ambulatory Leadership and the Ambulatory Clinical Educator provides individualized educational guidance when needed. Functions as an educational resource for the MA clinical staff to improve patient care and clinical/organizational outcomes.

    Education

    Other : Graduate of Medical Assistant program. (Required)

    Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

    Experience

    5 Years experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient setting (Required)

    1 Year experience training (Preferred)

    1 Year experience in a lead capacity (Preferred)

    License/Certifications

    CMA - Certified Medical Assistant (Required) or RMA - Registered Medical Assistant (Required) or CCMA - Cert Clin Medical Assistant (Required)

    BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
