- Oversees the dining areas and the supervision of all Front of the House service staff
- Manages and performs all work activities required to maintain the efficient and effective operation of the restaurant and kitchen
- Monitors compliance with safety and sanitation, codes of conduct, work rules, etc.
- Sources, interviews and hires service staff, and oversees training of all new hires
- Interfaces with guests to diffuse and resolve any issues with a proactive approach
- Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage service procedures and administration
- 3+ years of experience as a Manager in a high volume atmosphere ($10m + annually minimum)
- Strong P&L management of prime costs; Food, Liquor, Labor, Controllables
- Experience in accurate scheduling/forecasting
- Leadership experience at a location with a minimum 4 star rating
- Proven track record and progressive work history in 4+ starred operations
- Proficient Wine, Beer and Cocktail knowledge
- Attention to detail
- Proficient at interdepartmental communication; Kitchen, Events, Sales, etc.
- Must be able to create and maintain a team atmosphere with in the department and ensure that employees are appropriately trained and have an adequate work load
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong PC skills with a working knowledge of including but not limited to MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, and Outlook
- Minimum 3 years Management experience in a high-volume restaurant
