Job Summary:


This position is responsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience while supporting the servers by quickly and accurately delivering the kitchen orders for the patrons to enjoy their dining experience.


Job Duties:


  • Adheres to sanitation and safety policies.
  • Handling any and all needs that arise for Support Staff in a Restaurant environment, including but not limited to: resetting empty tables: sanitizing tables, cleaning tables and chairs, responding to guests' needs and questions, aiding servers and managers with tasks that may arise, replacing propane tanks, moving heaters and umbrellas, cleaning silverware, dishware, water glasses, mimosas collection in the weekend, storing any and all of these items properly, clearing, cleaning and organization of the dishes in the dropoff area, handling and disposal of trash, organize the clean and dirty linen, replenish water bottles, restocking servers' stations and maintaining a clean and organized work environment for both staff and guests.
  • Might assist the staff in setting tables with the appropriate tableware.
  • Work closely with other support staff and kitchen to ensure seamless service.
  • Assist in training new support staff.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to all support staff during shifts.
  • Efficiently create a schedule for support staff every week.
  • Understanding table numbers and table layouts to aptly provide direction and take direction from fellow employees.
  • Ensures guests have the proper silverware, napkins, and plates when delivering food.
  • Paying attention to priorities and special requests (food allergies).
  • Working with the front and back of the house and handling any and all needs that may arise in a timely manner.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all food menus
  • Inform wait staff of customers' requests or feedback.
  • Self-Sufficient service, not needing to be delegated or given direction.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance for both employees and guests, as well as maintaining a friendly demeanor for guests and coworkers.
