We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team at our prestigious fine-dining restaurant. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of bartending experience, possess exceptional mixology skills, and be capable of delivering top-notch customer service. This position requires the flexibility to work on holidays and weekends, ensuring our guests enjoy a memorable dining experience.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

Mix and Serve High-Quality Drinks:
- Create a wide range of cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages with precision and style.
- Follow established recipes and pour techniques to maintain consistency in drink quality.
- Exhibit expert knowledge of various spirits, wines, and beers.
Customer Service:
- Greet guests with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Take drink orders and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Ensure that guests have a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with courtesy and efficiency.
Beverage Knowledge:
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the restaurant's wine list, specialty drinks, and other beverage offerings.
- Provide information about the origins, flavors, and characteristics of different drinks.
Cleanliness and Organization:
- Keep the bar area, equipment, and glassware impeccably clean and well-organized.
- Restock bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain a hygienic work environment.
Responsible Alcohol Service:
- Verify the age of guests and ensure responsible alcohol service at all times.
- Recognize signs of intoxication and take appropriate action to prevent over-serving.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize wastage and ensure product availability.
- Place orders for bar supplies promptly.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure efficient service and seamless communication.
- Assist in training new bar staff, if necessary.
Compliance with Regulations:
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
Strong knowledge of mixology, classic cocktails, and wine.
Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects as needed.
TIPS or similar alcohol service certification is a plus.
