The ideal candidate should exhibit a strong work ethic and approach tasks with determination. Fluency in Hebrew is not required for this role.     Job Responsibilities:

    • Establish a classroom environment where students thrive in ELA
    • Deliver consistently high-quality ELA lessons to all students
    • Develop engaging lesson plans and classroom activities that promote active student participation in meaningful learning
    • Maintain a well-organized and professional classroom conducive to learning
    • Utilize teaching strategies aligned with Common Core standards to cater to the varying needs of students, regardless of their backgrounds, learning styles, or special requirements
    • Inspire students to think critically and take charge of their own learning journey
    • Enhance academic performance by analyzing student progress, interpreting data, and employing effective instructional techniques to ensure progress for all students
    • Assist students in preparing effectively for the NYS State Exam
    • Forge strong relationships with parents and students to foster engagement in academics and school culture
    • Implement efficient data collection procedures
    • Fulfill professional responsibilities by adhering to deadlines, schedules, and collaborating effectively with co-teachers and peers
    • Embrace and promote diversity as a crucial aspect of school life

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required; Master's degree is a plus
    • Prior experience in Elementary or Middle School teaching is preferred
    • Preferred possession of NYS certification in the relevant subject area or working towards certification
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Authorized to work in the USA

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

    The compensation package, including salary and benefits, will be competitive, fair, and based on qualifications and experience. Base salary starts at $62,000 or higher depending on experience and qualifications.
