Medical Billing Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Medical Billing Specialist for our healthcare client located in Melville, NY. This role will be 100% onsite and a direct hire opportunity This medical billing role will be focused specifically on AR, follow-up, and collections and will need to have experience within physician billing.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Medical Billing/Coding Certificate strongly desired
Minimum 3 years medical billing/coding required
Physician billing experience required
Proficiency within Microsoft Office and EMR Systems

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially phone etiquette
Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Self-driven and able to meet production metrics as given by management
Able to work well independently and make sound judgment calls when needed
Excellent technology/computer skills and able to work within multiple software systems
Ability to work well under deadlines

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
