- Manage HSE programs and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and HSE needs of a client account. Evaluate new and existing programs to assess suitability and the need for changes.

- Assist with implementing and reviewing playbooks, and procedures. Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives drive program consistency and efficiency.
- Manage initiatives to meet regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.
- Track operational and safety risks. Develop and manage strategic risk management strategies to avoid potential incidents.
- Monitor injury, illness, and incident reports within account. Provide recommendations on how to prevent risk.
- Monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental regulatory compliance within the account. Work with management to create strategic solutions that improve, correct and maintain compliance as required.
- Work with stakeholders to identify potential concerns. Communicate findings, concerns, and deficiencies to responsible functional managers.
- Assist in identifying in opportunities to reduce costs while enhancing quality of services for a client/account.
- Promote safety consciousness among employees by providing accurate and informative data, conducting safety meetings, giving timely feedback, on safety suggestions and visibly supporting the safety program(s).
- Act as a resource to staff and employees as an HSE subject matter expert.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
- Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state and local health and safety, and environmental regulations is highly preferred.
- Experience working in manufacturing, construction, and / or facility maintenance and management is preferred.
- Additional certifications as required by the local authority. Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) - Preferred
- Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
