At the Secretariat of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, a position as Deputy Head of Department for Personnel at the Referent level (m/f/d) is available in the General Department (Department I) at our location in Bonn, starting on March 1, 2024.

The Department I covers a comprehensive and diverse range of tasks in the areas of finance, personnel, information technology, and central services to support the tasks of the Secretariat of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs.

The IB department is responsible for personnel and legal matters. This area of responsibility includes the deputy management of the IB department for all personnel matters of the Secretariat.

Your future area of work:

Professional management of the personnel department
Contact person for all personnelrelated questions for managers
Support of the department head in the further development and creation of collective agreements, as well as cooperation with employee representatives
General and fundamental personnel matters
Optimization of department processes

Your profile:

Second state examination in law, preferably with a focus on labor law, or a degree from a university (master's or diploma level) in economics with a focus on personnel
Professional experience in a similar position or in related fields is essential
Knowledge in the areas of public service law, collective bargaining
