We are currently seeking a *Social Pedagogue (Diploma or Bachelor) m/f/d* for the leisure activities of the Open Support Services of Lebenshilfe Nürnberg e.

V., located at Rosenplütstraße 2, 90439 Nürnberg, starting as soon as possible.

and its non-profit subsidiary companies are responsible for 30 different facilities and specialized services for people with disabilities in Nürnberg.

Approximately 1650 employees provide support, development, and therapy for over 2500 people with intellectual and multiple disabilities, either through outpatient, mobile, or inpatient services.


In the midst of it all and fully involved - The leisure activities have been a growing area of responsibility for the Open Support Services since 2010. Through a diverse range of offerings, people with disabilities are enabled to participate in leisure and cultural activities with the guiding principle of inclusion, thus opening up pathways to society. It is important to us to primarily utilize regional cultural and leisure offerings.


Your profile:


  • Completed degree in social work/education
  • Professional experience in working with and for people with disabilities
  • Knowledge of legal regulations (e.g. SGB VIII, SGB IX, SGB XI)
  • Teamwork skills and ability to work independently and in a structured manner
  • Experience and competence in counseling
  • Willingness to work irregular hours (e.g. weekends)
  • Experience in supervising volunteer staff
