- Assist with audit disputes and revisions and make recommendations to underwriting on risks.
- Provide consultation on proper classifications and keep up with the latest changes.
- Determine and provide consultation on proper classifications, premium basis, scope of operations and make recommendations on accurate premium classifications.
- Actively work with and understand the functions of Underwriting Field Services (UFS) representatives, phone auditors, audit vendors, underwriters and processors.
- Communicate with underwriters, accounts receivable, processors, agencies, insureds and bookkeepers.
- Assist with other duties as assigned within the department or elsewhere on request.
- Two or four year college degree; or several years' experience or training.
- Ability to write reports.
- Good organization and attention to detail
- Must be able to use a personal computer and necessary software.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people.
- Aptitude for basic math and accounting.
- Willing to travel, attend seminars, meetings and attend other training classes.
