Description
At least 2 years' terminal / operations experience.Proficiency with ETYMS required. Preference give to candidates with an understanding of customer systems (VTIMs, COPAC).
Bachelor's degree in technical field is highly preferred.
Proficient in the use of computers, office equipment, and programs to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and sharepoint.
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
The candidate must have a passion for helping internal and external customers and be highly motivated by making a material positive impact in the company.
The Ideal candidate would have a Kaizen / 6 sigma blackbelt certification, however Jack Cooper is willing to train candidate in this area.

Ability to work remotely will be considered, not required to live in Kansas City, MO. Must be willing to travel frequently.
Job Summary
Effectively lead and manage process improvements in the field via running events, conducting training, and championing a continuous improvement culture.
Job DutiesEssential Functions
Conduct CI events and Value Stream Mapping events in the field to improve service, quality and efficiency. Position will be empowered to coach and guide local stakeholders and operations management through implementing positive process improvements.
Design and execute project plans for participants, executive staff, and other stakeholders.
Monthly readout to executive leadership including CEO on process improvement status.
Communicate project plans, milestones, barriers, and key success indicators to all levels within the organization
Work with RVP's and above to gain alignment on event schedule to ensure consistency and alignment with organizational strategic goals, as well as commitment on team makeup.
Drive results for the organization by developing lean leaders at terminal locations and driving a culture of continuous improvement.Develop standardized processes where they do not exist and assist in training terminal staff.
