Job Title Program Manager - Internal Communications
Job Description
OneMain Financial seeks a short-term contractor for August - December 2022 to support Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) communications. The contractor will perform duties as assigned by Corporate Communications and CSR. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the below:

Program Management of Credit Worthy by OneMain Financial

Work with EVERFI to schedule Classroom Connect Opportunities in partnership with Corporate Philanthropy team
Host training sessions prior to volunteer events and maintain regular correspondence with volunteers
Participate in Everfi Bi-Weekly Meetings with Corporate Communications team and provide updates
Serve as main point of contact for all CW questions and requests
Monitor inbox for CW related emails, corresponding with interested team members and active volunteers, maintaining regular updates to the volunteer list
Send school partnership requests to EVERFI
Monitor news alerts and scanning media outlets for mentions of CW, financial literacy bills and news articles about financial literacy

Corporate Social Responsibility Communications
Draft articles for company intranet
Draft press releases in support of financial literacy bills
Support Credit Worthy messaging development
Stay up to date on news, statistics and facts supporting financial literacy

Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory Skills Strong, versatile writing skills. Good organizational, planning, and coordination skills. Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize as needed. Desire to take full ownership of assigned projects and can work independently. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Skills Bachelor's Degree and work experience in a related field. A degree in communications, marketing, or public relations
