    About Firm wide AI

    The Firmwide Generative AI Team at Morgan Stanley is a dynamic and innovative department that serves as a center of AI enablement for the firm.

    The team is responsible for deploying advanced systems that utilize generative artificial intelligence to optimize business processes. The team oversees governance and control measures to ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies.

    The team is committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and providing education on AI technologies to other departments within the company.

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Manager to join our Firmwide AI team.

    As the bridge between technology and business strategy, you will play a pivotal role in driving the access of our GenAI ventures.

    This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee project milestones, and contribute to the growth of innovative AI solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Project Management:
    Lead project planning, execution, and monitoring ensuring deliverables are met within scope, timeline, and budget.

    2.


    Budget:

    Work closely with Finance to maintain annual budget, communicate status across leadership team, and ensure team is operating within budgeted spend.

    KPI & Objective Management:

    Track and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of GenAI initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.


    4.

    Talent & Resource Management:

    Maintain regular headcount reporting, and work in close partnership with Human Resources and Recruiting to track status of open headcount across department.

    Partnering with Sourcing and Finance, ensure proper contracts and onboarding of Consulting engagements and temporary employees. Review regular analytics to ensure compliance with policies and operations within budget, advising managers as needed.

    Communication Strategy:

    Partner with our corporate comms teams to develop and execute internal communication plans to keep the organization informed about training opportunities, upcoming events and other relevant updates.

    Play a key role in coordinating communications across department, in line with corporate communication standards.

    Jive Content Management:
    Manage our content strategy on Jive page, highlighting strategic GenAI Messaging, resources, and other key content.

    7.


    Employee Engagement:
    Contribute to agenda content and organization, may prepare materials for senior management and/ or team events

    8.


    Training Program Development:

    Design and implement a structure training curriculum for GenAI, including daily and weekly training sessions covering a wide range of topics related to AI technologies, machine learning algorithms and prompt engineering.

    Onboarding:

    Assist with onboarding activities for employees and contingent workers - to include coordination with HR/ sourcing, as well as providing new hire materials and guides.

    Additional projects may include involvement with training & development opportunities, senior management presentations, preparation for senior management meetings #LI-SK1

    • Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, particularly in the areas of AI, machine learning and/or data analytics.
    • Understanding of AI concepts and tools, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non technical audiences.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
    • Ability to thrive in a face paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
    • Passion for innovation and a commitment to staying updated in the latest advancements in AI technologies and training methods.

    Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $135,000 per year at the commencement of employment.

    However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
