    Job Summary

    The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for supporting and facilitating key functions related to the recruitment, hiring and onboarding process. This position is responsible for supporting the recruiting team in collecting and verifying required paperwork and forms for onboarding and hiring of new caregivers, conducting background checks, and preparing for new hire orientation. He or she will have their pulse on the candidate experience from recruiting through onboarding to orientation, as well as playing a key role in employee retention. Participates in and works towards making Senior Home Companions one of the best places to work.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collect and verify new hire documents from new caregivers. Ensure all new hire files are completed. Follow up timely to ensure a quick hiring process and a positive candidate experience
    • Run background checks for new hires.
    • Authorize TB screens for new caregiver hires. Encourage new caregiver hires to complete screens timely.
    • Schedule new caregivers for new hire orientation.
    • Enter New Paperwork in AxisCare.
    • Complete and verify I-9 forms at new hire orientation.
    • Compete eVerify certification for new hires
    • Manage caregiver requirements expirations process.
    • Assist in the set up and delivery of orientations - send new hire participant reminders, prepare "goodie bags", prepare welcoming environment, be present to collect paperwork, answer questions, etc. Work to create an outstanding candidate orientation experience. Ensure a smooth transition to Care Coordination team.
    • Assist recruiters in meeting weekly and monthly hiring goals. Incudes assisting in job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, attend community recruiting events and job fairs, and assist in organizing recruiting events.
    • Support the recruiting team with recruitment campaigns to include social media, community outreach, employee referral programs, etc. Suggest creative ideas to source candidates.
    • Stay current on industry and HR/Recruiting news and best practices and focus on overall professional development.
    • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process with an emphasis on creating an exceptional candidate experience. Continue those relationships into their employment to help create an exceptional employee experience culture.
    • Participate in the retention program for caregivers and promote the company's reputation as one of "the best places to work" organizations.
